  Solution:
               
 If  72 persons (of 100)  had eaten at restaurant R,  then 100 - 72 = 28  ate at restaurant S
                
If  52 persons  had eaten at restaurant S,  then 52 - 28 = 24  ate at both R and S  restaurant.
               

 Answer:   B)  24
